Codebook V9 Now Links with Revit 2010 64-Bit
The most recent version of Revit 2010 64-bit Subscription Update now links with CodeBook V9
CodeBook® V9, a standalone database software tool, provides bidirectional linking of an MS Access project program, equipment and furniture database with a Revit 2010 64-bit model. Once linked, CodeBook allows the monitoring of design changes during the entire design and documentation process comparing the “required data” in MS Access to the “designed data” in Revit.
Parameter data can flow back and forth between programs allowing CodeBook to manage the project program, equipment and furniture needs while Revit manages the graphic data. CodeBook then outputs the data to Excel, Word or MS Access reports. Since a large portion of the project data is now in CodeBook, the demands on the Revit model are reduced, bringing the BIM file size down to a more manageable level. This is especially beneficial in reducing the file size of a Revit healthcare or laboratory projects.
This new release of Revit’s Subscription Update was the key missing link in CodeBook’s API link to Revit,” says CodeBook founder Peter Mann. “Our clients can now enjoy using CodeBook for their current list of projects, and enjoy the new features V9 has to offer.”
